Carroll County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and has no government affiliation. It does not offer FCRA-covered services, and neither it nor its advertising partners is a consumer reporting agency. The pages help readers find Carroll County and Georgia records resources, but they are not a private investigation firm and cannot confirm custody or create an official report.
What the Project Provides
This is a private reference service. It stores no official jail, police, court, or corrections record and cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, release a person, file a document, or change a government entry.
It points readers toward Carroll County records resources, including the county open-records instructions, CCSO, city police portals, the Clerk, GDC, and federal locators. Outside tools may also be available through sponsored search boxes.
Acceptable Use

- Breaking a law or helping another person break one.
- Stalking, harassing, threatening, or intimidating another person.

- Trying to enter an account, server, database, or tool without authorization.
- Running bots, scrapers, or automated requests that copy or burden the pages.

FCRA Use Is Prohibited
The project is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither its advertising partners nor outside tools are offered as those services. Information from the pages must not be used for any purpose covered by the FCRA, including:
- Hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions.
- Tenant or housing screening and related decisions.
- Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing.
- Licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or similar determinations.
- Any other use regulated by the FCRA.
For the state records framework that governs much of the source material, see Georgia's Open Records Act provision at O.C.G.A. § 50-18-72.

Read the outside service's terms before using it.

All content and tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that the information or service will be:
- Accurate, complete, current, or free from outdated entries.
- Available without interruption.
- Free of errors, bugs, security gaps, or harmful code.
- Complete or reliable in the results returned by a partner search tool.
Custody status and public records change. Nothing on these pages is an official statement from CCSO, Carroll County Jail, a police department, a court, GDC, or another government agency.
